The inspiration for this compelling song has its source in the plight of Eritrean young people in the diaspora. Eritrean artists living in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Eritrea worked together to produce it.
The author of the powerful lyrics in Tigrinya is Shishai Shumendi. Yohannes Habteselassie translated them to English, with editing support from Dominique Mathiot. They are available in the description of the music video.
